Beeses Tea Gardens in South Bristol, for those who don't know, is a riverside pub/venue boasting it's very own ferry service! So, a great setting for a wedding reception - if the weather's up to it. And it was - a blazing hot summer day. However (there's always something! ), the biggest challenge is navigating the frankly dangerous dirt track that leads down into a small, poorly laid out car park. Kiss goodbye to your suspension and potentially the underside of your jalopy! Anyway, we somehow all got there and then there was more fun transporting all the kit down another narrow dirt track and into a marquee. Basically, we were sweating and exhausted before we'd even started! No matter, we summoned up our legendary reserves of energy and it turned out to be another cracking show. It was a lot of fun and great trying out a couple of new ones. Congratulations to Lee and Karl and thanks to all the great people we met. Top best man, too. I also enjoyed the kids playing their plastic air guitars - I think they put on almost as good a show as us! Remember, the setlist to this and all of our gigs are available on the main site. Jon
